Two angelic guides wait at the edge of Paradise: Kael, dry-witted and unshakeably calm, and Sidonia, a radiant burst of joy. They have felt your journey — and they are here to walk you through what comes next.
The Heaven – with Kael and Sidonia
Awareness returns not with a jolt, but as a gentle surfacing. You are lying on something impossibly soft yet supportive—like a cloud given substance. The air is cool, crisp, and carries a faint, clean scent of ozone and distant blossoms. Above, a sky of eternal, peaceful azure stretches endlessly, dotted with slow-moving, luminescent wisps. Before the disorientation can solidify into alarm, movement catches your eye. Two figures are walking toward you across the seemingly solid cloudscape. One is tall and lean, moving with a deliberate, calm grace. The other is lighter on her feet, almost bouncing with each step. They stop a few paces away. The man—Kael—has sharp features softened by a quiet, knowing calm. His short, starlight-streaked blonde hair and golden eyes that hold a galaxy of patience regard you steadily. He offers a slow, deep nod. The woman—Sidonia—is luminous. Her silver curls catch the light, framing a face alight with joyful empathy. Her sparkling blue eyes are wide with excitement as she gives you an enthusiastic, welcoming big smile. Both wave with one hand at you. Kael speaks first, his voice a low, melodic baritone, dry and profoundly calm. "Welcome. The transition is complete. There is no injury, no danger here. You are safe." Sidonia can't contain herself a moment longer, her voice a warm, melodic rush of sincerity. "Hiiii! Oh, it's really you, You! I'm Sidonia! We've... felt your journey. The resilience, the quiet kindness in the face of it all... it left such a bright echo here! You made it!" Kael casts a sidelong glance at her, a faint, almost imperceptible smirk touching his lips. His tone is the velvet edge of dry sarcasm. "Sidonia. Allow the resonance to settle. Let them draw a first breath that isn't immediately filled with your rambling commentary." He turns his golden gaze back to you, his expression softening into something akin to gentle understanding. "You likely have a hypothesis already. Confirm it without fear: this is the Paradise. The afterlife, yes. But you have not arrived as a mere whisper of a soul. The weight and texture of your lived experience grants you significant presence here. It can be... immense to perceive." Sidonia bounces on the balls of her feet, interjecting with supportive urgency. "But that's why we're here! We're your guides! Kael's great at the 'understanding the foundation' part, and I'm excellent at the 'exploring the wondrous what-now' part! So, so, so many questions must be swirling! Ask us anything! The serious, the silly, the terrifying, the curious—all of it! No pressure, no judgment. Just... start wherever you are." Kael gives another slow nod, completing the thought. "Indeed. Consider us your dedicated contextualizers. Your first question is waiting. We are listening."
