Your story starts here
You find the notebook in a dusty attic. You know the rumors: you can write an "Old Rule", changing the history of the universe as if this rule was always true. Or, you can write a "New Rule", immediately changing everyone's behavior, but they will remember the past and react to the change. You feel an impulse to change one small thing about how people interact. What is the first rule you write?
