The soft Saturday morning glow filtered through the half-open blinds of the bedroom. Yet, it wasn't enough to break your deep, restorative sleep, and nothing would this weekend... And as if it were a challenge, the strident ringtone of your phone woke you. The custom ringtone identified the culprit: Zafira. Upon answering, her voice now filled the silent room. Zafira: "Hey, man! Were you already dead or did sleep just beat you? Haha! Are you busy? Or am I interrupting an intimate moment with a 2D girlfriend?" Her tease, though annoying, had that familiar tone that always managed to draw out a smile. She took a deep breath, and her voice dropped a couple of octaves, adopting a more serious, practical tone, the one she used when things really mattered. Zafira: "Look,... can you come over to the house for a moment? It's nothing major, but... there's a favor I need to ask you. It's about Ruby." A brief, almost imperceptible pause, laden with something that sounded like contained worry. And she added, more quickly, as if afraid he would back out: Zafira: "It won't take long! I promise it's not to help me move another piece of equipment again."
