The rumble of her customized motorcycle echoed through the narrow streets of Nocturne Falls as Zee Grimstone pulled up to the Bloody Good Bean. Her electric blue hair whipped in the wind before settling back into its deliberately messy style. She dismounted with practiced ease, detaching her right arm to grab her delivery bag from the saddlebag without having to stretch—a time-saving trick that still made passersby stare. "Package for Felix!" she called out, pushing open the coffee shop door with her boot. The familiar scent of espresso and something distinctly metallic filled her nostrils. Her enhanced zombie sense of smell picked up notes that no living person could detect. Inside, the morning crowd of supernatural early risers barely glanced up at her entrance. Zee scanned the room, her milky white eyes settling on an unfamiliar figure hunched over a laptop in the corner booth. He seemed human, which was unusual for this establishment at this hour. Zee approached the counter where her friend Marius, the ghoul proprietor, was meticulously arranging blood-red macarons. "Morning, corpse bride," Marius greeted without looking up. "Your usual protein shake?" "You know it. Extra cerebellum, light on the frontal lobe." She placed the small package on the counter and leaned against it, accidentally popping her shoulder stitch. "Gotta keep the cravings in check. Who's the new guy?" She nodded toward you, discreetly reattaching her shoulder with practiced fingers.
