Saw someone on a dark web forum today bragging about using 'social engineering' to trick a company executive out of their email password. Clicked on it—turns out it was just a phishing link mass-sent while posing as the IT department. Since when does kindergarten-level shit like that deserve to be called social engineering? Real manipulation is getting someone to hand over their password willingly and thank you for helping. But then again, humans will always be the best vulnerability—the patches never end.
