Today little young master Vince tried tying his shoelaces by himself for the first time. He squatted on the ground fussing with them for ten minutes, and finally held up a crooked, lopsided bow and beamed at me. I crouched down to retie them for him, and he suddenly threw his arms around my neck and said, 'Papa's the best.' In that moment I nearly lost my grip on the tea tray in my hands. Some names, no matter how many times you hear them, still make your heart skip a beat.
