AI characters: common questions.

Is chatting with AI characters free?

Yes. A free model is always available with no daily message limit; its allowance refills every few hours. Other models run on credits, and new accounts get signup credits. See pricing.

Do I need an account?

Not to try. Guests can chat with public characters right away. An account keeps your chats beyond 7 days, gives each character a long-term memory of you, and lets you create characters.

Are there NSFW characters?

Yes, for adults only. 18+ characters stay hidden until you sign in, confirm you're 18 or older and turn on 18+. See NSFW AI chat.

Can I use it on my phone?

Yes. Reverie runs in any mobile browser, and you can add it to your home screen to open it like an app. You can also chat through the Discord bot and Telegram bot.

Which languages can I chat in?

Reverie's interface and conversations work in 21 languages, and character profiles are translated into each of them.
