Referrals
Invite someone and earn a share of what they spend.
Share your referral link. When someone creates a Reverie account through it, you earn 10% of the credits they buy for the next 90 days. The commission is paid in credits, into your wallet balance.
There is no signup bonus right now, for you or for them — the commission is the whole reward.
How it works
Share your link
Settings → Invite opens the referral center, which shows your link and code:
https://reverie.im/r/YOURCODE. Copy link, Copy invite code and Share are there, along with Create a share poster. The Invite dialog on the credits widget carries the same link plus a QR code.
They sign up through it
Opening your link sets a referral cookie that lasts 3 days. The referral is recorded when they create a new account while that cookie is live, and it's permanent from then on: one referrer per person, and it can't be moved later. There are no chains — people your referee invites pay their commission to them, not to you.
They do not need to verify their email for the referral to count.
They buy credits
Every qualifying purchase inside the 90-day window pays you commission in credits, recorded as Referral Commission in your credit history.
The 90 days are counted from the day they registered, not from their first purchase.
What pays, and how much
| Their purchase | What you earn | How often |
|---|---|---|
| A credit pack | 10% of the credits that purchase grants | Every pack they buy inside the window |
| Their first subscription | 10% of that plan's monthly credit allotment — Premium, for example, pays 600,000 credits | Once only; renewals never pay again |
The commission is 10% of the credits, not 10% of the money. It lands in your wallet balance, where it doesn't expire, and can be spent on anything.
Referral commission is not withdrawable. It is platform credit. The only balance that pays out in money is the separate creator support balance — see Withdrawals.
Referrals that don't qualify
- Referring yourself.
- Someone who already has a referrer, or who already had an account.
- An inactive referral code.
- A referrer whose account is banned at the time of signup.
Holds and reversals
Referrals that look like one person signing up twice are held for manual review instead of paying out. The signals are device and network: a new account on the same device as an existing one, or several new accounts from the same network and browser in a short window, or a referee who shares a network and browser with the referrer. A held referral isn't lost — it is reviewed, and it pays if it clears. Until then it counts under Pending review.
Attribution also waits when there's no device information yet: for up to 30 minutes it stays pending and is re-checked rather than being decided on incomplete evidence.
If your own account is banned, existing commissions freeze rather than disappear, and settle if the ban is lifted.
Commission can be taken back. If a referee's purchase is refunded or charged back, the matching commission is reversed in proportion. If the referral is revoked or the referee deletes their account, the commission is clawed back in full — and if you have already spent it, your balance can go negative until the shortfall is covered.
Your stats
The referral center, Invite friends and earn credits, shows the live commission rate and window alongside four counts:
| Stat | Meaning |
|---|---|
| All referrals | Everyone attributed to you |
| Verified signups | Referrals that passed the risk check |
| Paying referrals | Referrals who have bought something |
| Pending review | Referrals waiting on a decision — they pay nothing yet |
Commission earned totals what you've been paid. Reverie doesn't show you a referee's personal information at any point.
