Visual builder
A guided wizard that builds a character's look and profile step by step.
The Visual Character Creator starts from appearance rather than prose: you pick a look through six screens, and Reverie writes the profile and generates the avatar from those choices.
Open it from Labs → Visual Character Creator (/app/labs/visual-character-builder), or from Other ways to create in the character editor header.
The six steps

| Review | Everything so far, plus the credit cost of what happens next |
Most option lists accept your own value as well as the presets — look for Use custom value in the search box — and several are multi-select.
The Details step also has an Advanced details (optional) section for the things a picker cannot express: distinctive features and outfit, facial details and expression, an opening line, a story premise, speaking style, and boundaries or hard limits.
Ages are exact numbers and adults only (18+).
What happens on Review
The Review step shows the credit cost of the two generations it is about to run — the character profile and the avatar image — before you commit.
Press Create character and the wizard writes the profile, then generates the avatar. If the avatar step fails you can Continue without avatar and add one later.
When both are done you get a preview and a choice:

| Review and edit | Opens the full character editor with everything pre-filled; nothing is saved until you press save there |
Either way the character is not public. Visibility lives on the editor's General Settings tab — see publishing a character.
Drafts
Your selections are autosaved as you go, and the wizard offers to resume where you left off when you come back. Reset clears the current draft and starts from the first step.

Every path lands in the same editor, so nothing you pick here locks you out of the others.
