Reverie Wrapped
Your year in review, the credit rebate, and what a shared page reveals.
Reverie Wrapped is an annual recap of your year — messages, characters, models, rhythms — with a credit bonus attached and an optional public page you can share. It appears as Year in Review in the sidebar each December.
When it opens
| Rule | Value |
|---|---|
| Season | 15–31 December, UTC |
| What opens then | The current year becomes viewable and its bonus becomes claimable |
| Sidebar link | Year in Review appears from 15 December until 31 January |
| Outside the season | The page still works and shows completed years |
| History starts at | 2026. There is no 2025 Wrapped, and there will not be one — the underlying usage data was already deleted under the retention policy before Wrapped existed |
| Past years | Kept permanently, viewable any time from the year switcher |
Open it before 15 December and the current year is not ready: the page reads Your year is still being written and tells you Wrapped opens every year from December 15 through 31.
Your year is measured against your own local calendar year, resolved from your timezone — not UTC. A recap opened mid-season is marked as based on partial data and is recalculated once the year has ended everywhere.
What it shows
Wrapped plays as a sequence of cards. Broadly it covers:
| Group | Includes |
|---|---|
| Headline numbers | Messages sent, tokens, credits used, paid credits used, stories played, story messages, active days, models used, characters you talked to, favourites, your busiest weekday, your longest streak, credits earned from rewards, and how many novels' worth of words that adds up to |
| Top lists | Your top characters with message counts, and your top models |
| Rhythm | Share of messages after midnight, your peak hour, average messages on an active day, your longest single conversation, first and last activity of the year, a twelve-month activity chart, personality tags, and your busiest week |
| Creator block | Creators only: characters created, messages received, followers, reviews received, average rating, support received in dollars, and plugin commissions |
| Achievements | How many achievements you unlocked during the year |
The yearly bonus
Wrapped pays back a slice of what you actually spent.
| Rule | Value |
|---|---|
| Rebate | 5% of the paid credits you consumed that year |
| Cap | 5,000,000 credits |
| How often | Once per year |
| What counts | Credits backed by money: your subscription allowance and any credits you bought, as they are consumed during the year |
| What does not count | Free credits. The signup bonus, daily check-in, lucky draw, share reward, achievements and referral credits earn no rebate, however much of them you use |
The current year's bonus unlocks with the season. Claim it before then and the answer is Wrapped rewards for the current year unlock on December 15. A past year's bonus stays claimable afterwards, so missing December does not forfeit it.
Sharing your year
Sharing is off by default. Until you publish, the page reads Only you can see this and nobody else can reach it.
Publish
Publish mints a link at a random 22-character token. The token is generated from 128 bits of randomness and is never derived from your account, so nobody can guess, enumerate or construct another person's link.
Share the link
Anyone holding the link can open the page. There is no sign-in requirement and no per-person access list — treat the link itself as the key.
Make it private again
Make private clears the token and the page stops resolving. A new Publish mints a fresh token, so the old link stays dead.
What a public page shows
The public page is built from a fixed allow-list, field by field. Anything not on this list is absent — including anything added to Wrapped in future, which stays private until it is deliberately added here.
| Field | What a viewer sees |
|---|---|
| Year | Which year this recap covers |
| Messages sent | Your total for the year |
| Stories played | Your total for the year |
| Active days | How many days you showed up |
| Longest streak | Your best run of consecutive days |
| Models used | The count, not which ones |
| Characters interacted with | The count |
| Favourites | The count |
| Busiest weekday | Which day of the week you were most active |
| Top characters | Name, avatar and message count — public characters only |
| Night-owl share | Percentage of messages sent after midnight |
| Peak hour | The hour of day you came back to most |
| Personality tags | The tags Wrapped derived, with their intensity |
| Longest conversation | The character's name and the message count |
| Monthly activity | A twelve-month chart of messages per month |
| Creator block | Characters created, followers and average rating — only while your creator profile is public |
What is never published
Spending is never on a shared page, in any form. The toggle says so, and the payload enforces it.
| Never published | Why |
|---|---|
| Credits consumed, paid credits consumed, credits earned | A spend figure is a proxy for what you pay. It is nobody else's business |
| The bonus block — the rebate amount and whether you claimed it | A payout amount, and it can be worked backwards into your spend |
| Creator income: support received in dollars, plugin commissions | Real income, in real money |
| First and last activity dates, and your busiest week | Dated presence. The monthly chart is coarse enough to be a picture; a to-the-day log of when you were online is not |
| Top models | Which provider served a chat is an internal detail |
| Token counts, including per-character token counts and the "novels' worth" figure | Token counts track consumption, and mean nothing to a reader |
Two further rules apply to a page that is already live:
- Characters are resolved when the page is loaded, not when it is published. Only characters that are public at that moment are shown. Make a character private later and it disappears from the published page — name, avatar and all. Private characters never appear at all.
- Creator numbers require a public creator profile. Characters created, followers and average rating are shown only while your creator profile is itself public. Hide the profile and they drop off the shared page.
The page counts views, and has its own preview card for social feeds.
The December email
If you were active during the year, Reverie emails you once the season opens, delivered at 10:00 in your local time between 15 and 31 December.
