Becoming a creator
The application, what the review checks, and how the verified badge is granted.
Creator status is granted by review, not by publishing. This page covers the gate you have to clear, the form you fill in, what the review looks at, and the separate verified badge.
Before you can apply
You need 3 public characters that have not been deleted. Unlisted and private characters do not count. Until you have them, the creator program card counts how many public characters you have against the number required and sends you to character creation instead of the application.
Applying
Open the application
Main menu → Creators → Apply to become a creator.

The bio is the main thing the review reads. Say what you write, who it is for, and what you are working on.
Submit
Your creator profile is created and every admin is notified, but you are not a creator yet. The Creators page switches to Under Review, and Creator Center is not reachable while you are pending.
You can have one application open at a time. Submitting again while one is pending, or after you are already a creator, is refused.
What the review checks
An automated pass runs every hour and handles at most 10 applications per run. It can only approve — it never rejects — and anything it does not approve goes to the admin queue. The pass can also be switched off platform-wide, in which case every application waits for an admin.
It reads only the application itself: your display name, bio, tags and social links. It does not read your characters, your images, your email address, and it does not open the links you supplied.
Any one of these sends the application to a human instead of an automatic decision:

Automatic approval needs all of the following at once: no blocker above, an approve verdict from the reviewing model, confidence of at least 0.95, no issues raised, and a stated reason. Everything else is a human decision.
An auto-approvable application clears within about an hour. An application that goes to the admin queue has no published turnaround time — it waits for a person.
While you are pending
A pending applicant earns nothing and unlocks nothing. In particular, the monthly character reward run explicitly skips creators who have not been approved, so usage your characters collected while you waited does not pay out later.
You also cannot receive direct support, publish creator posts, receive creator messages, or enter campaigns until you are approved.
After approval
Creator Center appears in the main menu, and your public creator profile goes live. You can reopen the same form later through Edit creator info to change your bio, tags, banner, social links, contact setting and profile visibility.
Turning Show my creator profile off hides you from creator lists and makes your creator profile unavailable. Your characters stay visible and usable and your earnings continue normally.
If an admin revokes creator status, that account can never be auto-approved again — any future application goes to a human every time.
The verified badge
Verification is separate from approval and is not something you apply for. A nightly check at 00:30 UTC grants the badge to every creator who clears all of these at once:

The run grants at most 50 badges, largest audiences first, so clearing the bar on a busy night can mean waiting for the next run. The check only ever grants. Removing a badge is a manual admin decision, and once removed it is never granted again automatically.
The badge does not change your reward rate, your commission rate or your withdrawal fee. All three are flat for everyone.
