Credits

What a credit buys, the order they are spent in, and which ones expire.

Credits are the single currency on Reverie. Chat replies, images, video, voice and most AI creation tools all draw on the same balance. What matters most is that there are two kinds of credit, and only one of them expires.

Allocation credits and wallet credits

Allocation creditsWallet credits
Where they come fromYour subscription's monthly grantCredit packs, gift cards, the 30,000-credit signup grant, daily check-in, lucky draw, share reward, achievements, bounties, referral commission
SpentFirstOnce the allocation is empty
ExpireAt the end of every billing periodNever

Unused plan credits do not roll over. Whatever is left of a month's allocation is written off when the period ends, and the write-off appears in your history as an Expiration row. Cancelling doesn't rescue them either — they expire with the plan. Wallet credits are untouched by all of this.

What a turn costs

credits = total tokens × the model's credit multiplier

Total tokens means the whole exchange, not just the reply. The character's definition, the conversation history, any world-book entries that matched, the system prompt and your message are all counted alongside the text the model generates. In a roleplay chat the prompt is usually far larger than the reply, so the reply length is a poor guide to cost.

The platform average is about 8,000 tokens per conversation turn. At that size:

Model multiplierCredits for one 8,000-token turn
0.3× (the default model)2,400
0.5×4,000
1.0×8,000
1.3×10,400

So Pro's 2,600,000 monthly credits are roughly a thousand turns on the default model. A long chat with a big character definition and an active world book costs more per turn than that; a short one costs less. Choosing a model lists every multiplier.

Everything else is priced per unit, not per token:

ActionCredits
Image10,000–30,000 per image, depending on which model the request routes to
Image to video120,000 per clip; requires an active subscription
Reading a message aloud25 per character on the MiniMax voice, which requires an active subscription; the Edge voices are free
Voice input (speech to text)Free

The order credits are spent

  1. Subscription allocation, while the current period has any left.
  2. Wallet credits after that — the ones you were given first (signup grant, check-in, lucky draw, other rewards), then the ones you paid for.

The credits you bought are the last to go, which is what you want: they're the ones that never expire.

A turn that settles above its estimate can push the wallet slightly below zero. The balance then shows Owed, and the next request is refused until you top up — the reply you already received is never taken back.

Credit packs

Packs are a one-time purchase and never expire. Your subscription tier adds a bonus at the moment of purchase; with no subscription you get the base amount.

PackBase creditsPro (+15%)Premium (+18%)Ultimate (+21%)
$102,200,0002,530,0002,596,0002,662,000

$10028,000,00032,200,00033,040,00033,880,000

Buy credits next to your balance opens Get Credits, which has a Buy Credits tab for packs and a Subscription tab for plans.

Promotions

Limited-time offers show up on the purchase screens as Limited-time offer, badged either +n% credits or n% OFF, with a countdown. They apply at checkout on their own — Discount auto-applied at checkout. Only one promotion applies to a purchase; promotions don't stack with each other, though a limited-time pack bonus does stack with your plan's pack bonus.

A percentage discount only works on card payments. When it can't apply, the screen says Use a card payment to apply this discount.

Auto-recharge

Auto-recharge buys your chosen credit pack with your saved card when your balance is nearly spent, so a conversation doesn't stop mid-scene.

Auto-recharge is off by default and may not be enabled on your account. If Auto-recharge credits doesn't appear on Settings → Subscription, it isn't available to you.

Where it is available: Enable auto-recharge, then pick a Pack to buy. It needs a card on file, so buy a pack manually once first — the setting says Buy a credit pack once to save your card for auto-recharge. You can also arm it from the pack itself with Auto-buy this pack when I run low. Reverie notifies you when a top-up lands, and tells you if the charge fails so you can fix the payment method.

Watching your balance

Your credit balance sits in the app navigation. The history icon beside it opens Credit center, which has three tabs:

TabWhat it shows
PlanYour current plan, how much of the period's allocation you've used, and how long is left
ActivityEvery credit movement — date, type, amount, balance after — filtered by type
UsagePer-request usage — date, character, model, tokens, credits used — filtered by model

That dialog is the whole record: there is no CSV download and no API endpoint for your ledger.

These are the types you'll see in Activity:

TypeWhat it records
PurchaseA credit pack you bought
SubscriptionA subscription payment
Subscription AllocationA month's plan credits arriving
Subscription ConsumptionUsage paid out of the plan allocation
ConsumptionUsage paid out of the wallet balance
ExpirationPlan credits written off at the end of a period
Daily LoginA check-in, base and streak bonus together
BonusA lucky draw win, and other one-off grants
Share RewardThe daily share reward
Achievement RewardAn achievement payout
Wrapped RewardThe Year in Review rebate
Referral / Referral CommissionReferral attribution and commission
Creator BonusYour share of credits spent on your characters
Plugin CommissionYour share of credits spent on your plugins
Bounty Deposit / Bounty Reward / Bounty RefundBounty escrow and payouts
Gift Card RedeemA gift card you redeemed
RefundCredits returned
Admin Grant / Admin DeductionA manual adjustment by Reverie

The check-in and the lucky draw have no type of their own: a check-in is a single Daily Login row covering base and streak together, and a draw win is a Bonus row.

When you're running low

A reminder appears in the app once you've spent 85% of the period's allocation. Without a subscription it appears when you've spent 85% of the credits you've ever had and fewer than 50,000 are left. Dismissing it silences it for 14 days.
