Telegram bot
Chat from Telegram, in a DM, a group, or the Mini App.
The Reverie bot brings characters into Telegram — a private chat with the bot, a group, or a channel it administers. It can also open Reverie itself inside Telegram as a Mini App, where you can buy credits with Telegram Stars.
Set it up
Open the bot
In the app, go to Labs → Discord & Telegram Bots and press Open Telegram Bot on the Telegram card. The link it opens offers to add the bot to one of your groups; to use it privately instead, open a chat with the bot and send /start.
Link your account
Send /link. The bot replies with a Link Reverie Account button and a copyable link, single-use and valid for 10 minutes. Open it, sign in, and the accounts are joined. One Telegram account maps to exactly one Reverie account.
Add a character
Send /add <name>. The bot searches and shows up to eight matches as buttons — tap one to add it to this chat. In a group, only group admins can do this.

Settings
/settings opens an inline menu, or jump straight to a page with /settings model, language, mode, style, payment or limit.

In a private chat you count as an admin, so every page is available. Menus and error replies delete themselves after a short while to keep the chat clean.
Groups and channels
In a private chat with the bot, characters answer every message. In a group they answer when @mentioned or when you reply to one of their messages — auto-reply is off by default, so adding a character to a busy group does not make it talk over everyone.
The bot can also post in a Telegram channel when it has been made an admin there.
There is no inline mode. You cannot summon a character by typing
@botname in a chat the bot is not in. The bot only works where it has been
added.
The Mini App
/app opens Reverie inside Telegram's browser, signed in from your Telegram account — the full app, with your roster, your chats and your credits.
The Mini App is served over HTTPS only; if the bot replies that the app isn't available, that deployment has no HTTPS site URL.
Paying with Telegram Stars
/buy runs the whole purchase inside Telegram. Not subscribed, you choose between a plan and a credit pack; already subscribed, you go straight to credit packs with your subscriber bonus applied. Picking one posts a native Stars invoice with a Pay button.
/buy is restricted to private chats — an invoice in a group would charge whoever tapped it.
Who pays

Messages cost the same as they do in the web app. The daily counter resets at 00:00 UTC.
What works in Telegram
- Images. Characters can generate images.
- Voice out. Characters can send voice messages.
- Voice in. Voice notes and audio files are transcribed, up to 25 MB.
- Memory. Characters save and update memories when the model supports tools, and world book canon is included in their context.
- History. Long chats are summarised automatically as they grow.

Rapid consecutive messages from the same person are merged into one turn.
Unlinking
Unlink from the integrations dashboard with Unlink Account.
Blocking the bot in Telegram does not unlink your account. Removing the bot from a group only deactivates that group's characters. Use Unlink Account in the app.
