Account setup
Sign up, claim your welcome credits, and configure the basics — fewer than five minutes from zero to first conversation.
You can browse Reverie and read character profiles without an account. Everything else — chatting, saving favourites, creating characters, earning credits — requires you to sign in.
Create your account
Choose a sign-in method
From the top right of any page, click Sign in.
- Google or Discord — one tap OAuth; we never see your password.
- Magic link — type your email, we send a one-time sign-in link.
- Email + password — works everywhere; we send a verification link.
All methods land you in the same account. You can add more methods later from Settings → Security.
Pick a display name and avatar
You can change either at any time from Settings → Profile. Your display name is what other users see on moments, comments, and character creation credits.
Set your interface language
Reverie speaks 17 languages with full UI translation: English, Chinese (Simplified), Japanese, Korean, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Russian, Arabic, Hindi, Indonesian, Thai, Vietnamese, Turkish, and Polish.
Set yours from the language picker in the top nav, or under Settings → Preferences. This also controls the default discovery feed — French users see French moments first.
Claim your welcome credits
New accounts get a welcome credit grant the moment they verify. You'll see the balance in the top right of the app. Credits never expire.

What you get on the free tier
Every Reverie account, paid or not, gets the same set of features. The differences:
- Basic-tier models — DeepSeek V3.2/V4 Flash/R1, GLM 4.7, plus the free Llama and Qwen — available on every account.
- Advanced-tier models — GLM 5, GLM 5.1, Gemini 3 Flash Preview — gated to active subscribers. The model picker shows a lock if you don't have a plan.
- Every mode. Chat, Story, and Novel work on every account.
- Every creator tool. Character creation, plugin authoring, monetization — all free to start.
- Daily login bonus. Open the app once a day and receive free credits automatically.
- Referral program. Share your link, earn credits when friends buy.
Subscription adds: a larger monthly credit grant, access to advanced-tier models, faster generation queues for image/video, and an unmetered debug-chat for character building.
