Reviews & creator notes
Player reviews, your replies, and notes that never reach the AI.
Two switches on the General Settings tab decide how much of your character's page belongs to the people playing it. Both are on by default. A third field, on Basic Information, is how you talk back.
Reviews
Reviews lets players rate and review the character and reply in the threads.

New reviews notify you. The character's average rating shows on its page and on your character list in the creator dashboard, alongside analytics.
Replying
Anyone reading a review can reply to it, including you. Replies are up to 1,000 characters, and yours carry a Creator badge so nobody has to guess who is answering.
Two replies show under a review by default, with View all replies to open the rest.
You can delete any reply in a review thread on your own character — your own, or someone else's. The reviewer is notified when a reply lands on their review.
You cannot delete or edit a player's review itself. Only its author can do that. If a review breaks the rules rather than disagreeing with you, report it.
Turning reviews off
Switching Reviews off stops new reviews and stops replies. Existing reviews stay on the page, and their authors can still edit their own words.
It is worth leaving on. Reviews are the only first-party signal a browsing player has about whether a character is good, and a thread you answer reads very differently from an empty one.
Community snapshots
Community snapshots lets players share scenes from their own chats on the character's page. You can hide any of them, and anyone can report one.
This is the fastest way for a character's page to fill with evidence of what playing it is actually like, but it is also other people's scenes on your page — turn it off if that is not what you want. See snapshots.
Creator notes
Creator notes (optional) sits on the Basic Information tab. It is up to 20,000 characters, supports Markdown, and appears on the character page as A word from the creator, in the language you wrote it in.
It is never sent to the chat AI. That is the whole point of it: notes are addressed to the player, not to the character.
Good uses:
- How you intend the character to be played, and what the fun part is.
- Content warnings a bio has no room for.
- Credits — artists, source material, collaborators.
- A changelog when you rework a character people already play.
Anything you want the AI to act on belongs in the description or the prompt fields instead. Anything you write in creator notes will be read by players and ignored by the model.
