Using plugins
Install, enable and configure a plugin inside a chat.
Plugins are installed per chat, from the Plugins tab of the chat side panel. You need to be signed in — the tab shows a sign-in prompt otherwise.
Install a plugin
Open the Plugins tab
In a chat, open the side panel and pick Plugins. Switch between My, Official and Community. The Community tab has a search box that matches plugin names and descriptions.
Read the cost estimate
Every card carries an estimate of what the plugin adds to each message, in credits, calculated for the model the chat is currently using. Switching models changes the estimate, and the install dialog repeats it in full.
Install
Press Install. If the plugin has settings, the Install Plugin dialog opens first: fill the fields and save. Plugins with settings also offer AI Generate, which fills those fields from a description you type.
Enable it for this chat
An installed plugin's card carries a switch. On means the plugin runs in this chat; off means it stays installed but does nothing. Reopen the settings any time with Configure Plugin, and remove it with Uninstall.
Enabled interactive plugins appear in a plugin menu beside the message box. That menu is only there when at least one interactive plugin is on.
You can set plugins up before you send the first message in a new chat. They take effect as soon as the conversation starts.
The order badge and the five-prompt limit
Each enabled plugin shows a #1, #2, #3… badge. That number is its position in this chat, assigned in the order you installed things, and it decides which prompt plugins are applied.
At most five prompt plugins are applied to a chat. Enable six and the first five in that order run; the rest are skipped in silence — they look enabled on their cards, they show a cost estimate, and they contribute nothing to the reply. Tool and interactive plugins do not count towards the five. Switching a prompt plugin off frees its slot for the next one in order, so turn off the ones you don't need rather than wondering which five won.
There is no ceiling on tool or interactive plugins, but each tool plugin adds its description to every request, so the cost estimate on the card rises with each one.
Model support
Tool plugins only work on models that support tool calling. On a model that doesn't, the card is disabled and reads Current model does not support tool plugins. Prompt and interactive plugins work on every model. Choosing a model →
Versions and updates
An installed plugin card shows the version you are running, like v3. When the author publishes a newer version, an update control naming that version appears on the card, and nothing changes until you press it. Your chat keeps running the exact version you installed, including its wording in your language.
Character defaults
A character's creator can ship tool and interactive plugins with the character. Those arrive already installed when you open a chat with them, and you can switch them off like any other plugin. If you install the same plugin yourself, your own settings win.
Creators can only attach a version that has been through review, so a visitor never runs an unreviewed draft.
Nothing else arrives preinstalled. A new chat runs no plugins until you install one or the character's creator attached one.
Image generation
Image generation in chat is switched on by installing the official image generation plugin. Its install dialog asks you to confirm that generating images spends credits; the install doesn't complete until you do. Image generation →
Plugins you created
The My tab also holds Edit, Debug and Delete for plugins you wrote, plus View Earnings. Deleting a plugin you created is permanent and is confirmed first.
