Direct support
Let fans pay you directly, and what reaches your balance.
Direct support is a one-time tip from a reader to you. It is on by default once you are approved, it needs no wallet and no setup, and Reverie takes nothing out of it.
How a fan pays you
They open your creator profile, tap Support Creator, pick an amount, optionally write you a message, and pay through Reverie's ordinary checkout. Nothing moves wallet to wallet and nothing arrives in a wallet of yours — the payment clears through Reverie and lands in your Reverie balance.
| Tier | Amount |
|---|---|
| Buy a Coffee | $5 |
| Buy a Lunch | $10 |
| Buy a Dinner | $20 |
| Super Support | $50 |
| Custom Amount | Any amount from $1 to $100 |
The optional message is capped at 500 characters.
What reaches you
Reverie takes 0% of the support itself. When the payment completes, the full amount is added to your balance. The only fee in this system is the flat 15% taken when you withdraw.
Your balance is held in US dollars, to two decimal places. Creator Center → Earnings shows:
| Figure | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Available balance | What you can withdraw right now |
| Total earned | Everything ever credited |
| Total withdrawn | Only counts withdrawals that completed |
USDT never appears until the moment you withdraw, and then only as the payout rail.
A support sits pending until its payment completes. A payment that fails never credits anything.
Turning it on and off
Support is enabled for every approved creator by default, so there is nothing to switch on. To stop accepting tips, turn off Enable Creator Support under Creator Center → Earnings → Support Settings. The Support Creator button disappears from your profile while it is off.
You do not need a withdrawal wallet to receive support. A wallet is only needed to take money out.
Who you can see
Every supporter is identified to you. Recent supports lists the supporter, the amount, their message and the date, and the same identity appears in the public list of recent supporters.
There is no anonymous option. A reader who does not want to be named on your profile should not use direct support.
You get an in-app notification and an email for each completed support.
If a payment is refunded or disputed, the support is reversed and the amount is taken back out of your balance. Spend against a balance you have not withdrawn yet with that in mind.
What direct support is not
- Not recurring. Every support is a one-time payment. There are no creator memberships, subscriptions or monthly tiers.
- Not a transfer to your wallet. The money goes to your Reverie balance, and moves on-chain only when you request a withdrawal and an admin sends it.
- Not credits. This balance is dollars. It is separate from platform credits, which cannot be converted to money.
