Side panel & chat settings

The seven-tab panel beside every chat — character info, gallery, scenarios, similar characters, memory, plugins, and chat settings.

Everything that isn't the message stream lives in the side panel — a seven-tab strip you open from the chat. On desktop it slides in beside the conversation; on mobile it opens as a sheet. The conversation keeps running while it's open.

Memory views

The Memory tab separates two kinds of context that used to appear in different places:

  • Learn from Chat stores facts about you, the character, or your relationship. These can carry across conversations.
  • Conversation Memory shows the generated summaries used for older parts of the current conversation. You can edit a summary to correct what the AI remembers.

Chat Settings (⚙️)

The Settings tab is grouped into four sections. Only one section opens at a time, and its collapsed header shows the current key values.

Each row has a scope label: This character, This conversation, This device, or Account. Check it before changing a setting when you want to know whether the change follows you to another chat or device.

Replies & Generation

SettingWhat it does
AI ModelOpens the model picker. Each model shows quality (real user A/B win-rate), speed (recent latency), and price multiplier. Choosing a model →
Reasoning ModeLet the model think step-by-step before replying — higher quality, slower, more tokens. Some models are always-on. Reasoning mode →
NSFW Content IntensityThree levels — Literary, Moderate, Explicit. Hidden when the creator has defined a custom NSFW prompt for the character.
Narration StyleFirst person ("I"), Third person ("he/she/they"), or AI Decide.
Response LengthChoose automatic, short, medium, or long replies.

Voice & Input

SettingWhat it does
VoicePick the TTS voice used when messages are read aloud. Free voices use Edge TTS; Premium voices use MiniMax. Tap to preview before applying.
Voice StudioOpen the tools for cloning, designing, and managing custom voices.
Auto-play VoiceWhen voice mode is on, automatically play TTS for new replies. Turn it off to keep voice-style replies without audio — you can still tap any message to play it. Voice call mode always plays audio regardless.
Voice Auto-SendSend transcribed voice input immediately instead of placing it in the composer for editing.
